How to get the basics of face + nail care

There are seven simple nail shapes to choose from, all with slightly different visual effects. Want to make your fingers look thinner? There is a nail shape for that. Are your nails thinner? There is an optimal shape for that.

First, we have square nails that are fairly self-explanatory: the tips are square at the edges to give a clean, smooth look. If you prefer a square shape but prefer something a little more subtle, squawal may be a good option.

Then, there are the nuts and stilettos. Almond shaped nails are softer between the two and much easier to achieve from a natural nail. Almond nails have a rounded tip but flare down and show the illusion of a point, without any hard tip.

Stiletto nails on the other hand come to a point. This could shape Technically Achieve on a natural nail, but that nail must be pretty long and strong to hold.

Coffin nail is another, edgier option. This shape consists of rounded edges with rounded edges and a flat top. It is basically a happy medium between nuts and square nails.

Now if you are looking for something on the natural edge of the spectrum, oval and round nails are the way to go. Especially if you want to keep your nails short but still want to shape them, a round tip is perfect. Achieving this shape is not very complicated and it is certainly more practical than other looks.
